In addition to the “standard nomi”, there are also the Shinogi Oire Nomi which have a triangular shape which make them particularly suitable for cleaning out acute angles (e.g. dovetails). These, together with the classic oire-nomi, are recommended to get started in the world of Japanese chisels.
