Clifton Spokeshave 600 – Flat or Curved Sole
The Clifton spokeshaves are made of virtually unbreakable spheridal graphite / malleable iron. The surfaces are finished and polished to provide optimum comfort in the hand. Its weight and balance allows the Spokeshave to sit firmly on the wood such that only a stroking motion is needed to make them cut. The firm seating and fine adjustment make delicate nuances in the weight of the cut.
The blade is made from cryogenically treated 01 steel which means you can get a sharp cutting edge that is hard to achieve with other iron steels.
