This iron fits the Qiangsheng Luban block planes. The blade can be used as a replacement but also to bring more versatility to a block plane. By grinding different angles do the blade, the same plane can be used for working end grain (low angle), for smoothing or working more difficult timber (mid angle) or even as a scrapper (high angle).
It is 3mm thick and made of high carbon steel which get a remarkably sharp edge that is difficult to get with other steels.
