Sari Kanna, japanese compass plane (used)

The is a nice and handy tool that comes with a convex sole. This allows it to plane curved surfaces and to scoop out material to create curved shapes on otherwise boringly straight lines (think a curved line at the bottom of a stretcher to change the appearance on a chair or table.

NB. This is a vintage, 30-40 years old Japanese plane which is used but restored and in fully working conditions and likely to last for another few decades.
