American walnut timber, joinery grade
From the eastern regions in North America, American walnut has an exquisite dark brownish colour that make it perfect for joinery and furniture making projects. It is easy to work with and looks gorgeous once planed and finished.
The boards are rough sawn. This means you will need planing. Perfect for woodworking projects where you start from rough wood where you might still need to dimension to smaller parts (including re-sawing), whilst avoiding the added cost of machine planing. Wood being wood, every plank will be different – including grain and knot pattern, but all walnut is of high, joinery level quality.
